Opposition to controversial new bank rule

Anyone opening a bank account in Canada will now be asked where they were born and possibly where their parents were born. Customers with a close connection to the U.S. will have their files sent to the IRS. It’s a part of a new effort to catch U.S. tax cheats. Shirlee Engel explains.
