‘Strikes on Islamic State working’ says General John Allen – BBC News

The head of the US-led coalition against Islamic State extremists, General John Allen has told the BBC that the air campaign against IS has been a success so far. His comments come despite criticism from Turkey which said recent airdrops of military supplies into the Syrian town of Kobane were a mistake because some of the US weapons had been seized by militants. General Allen spoke to the BBC’s Matthew Amroliwala.
